The Annual General Meeting of the Orere Community and Boating Club will be held in the Orere Hall on Sunday 6th August at 11.30am.
All Members are warmly invited to attend the AGM and hear and discuss how the OCBC is going.
Ahead of the meeting Members were sent by email the OCBC Annual Performance Report for the recently completed 2022-23 club season, plus the Minutes of the OCBC’s 2021-22 Annual General Meeting held last September.

The AGM is a convenient opportunity for Members to renew membership and to get a new key for the boat ramp gate following the formalities. If you are renewing a key, please make sure you bring this season’s key to exchange or return.
If you know anyone, particularly new members of the community, who may wish to join the OCBC, please let them know they are very welcome to come along.
The AGM is also a chance to refresh the OCBC Committee. We can’t expect the same old tired faces to keep the club going because they get, well, old and tired. New ideas and new energy can keep the OCBC relevant and beneficial to the Orere Point community. Please think about whether that can include you.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday August 6th at the AGM if you are able to attend.
